If you love looking at the stars, sun, moon and other celestial formations, join amateur astronomer James Lehr Miller "Starman" for any of these informative "come & go" sessions!
Mr. Miller's interest in astronomy evolved out of his fascination with photography. He built his first telescope in 7th grade! He has extensive experience giving public presentations at national observatories such as Goldendale Observatory State Park, Kitt Peak National Observatory and most recently Knob Noster State Park and Powell Gardens. Mr. Miller will have his homemade telescopes set and ready for you to view the heavens at the Saline County Fairgrounds-2702 Lexington Ave (at the Gazebo by the church). Free-will donations accepted. Come take a look! You'll be glad you did!
